Windows Vista Business is the business-oriented edition of the latest Microsoft operating system. It features increased ease of use, better security, more search capabilities, and improved wired and wireless networking. This 64-bit version operates on a computer with a 64-bit processor and 64-bit drivers.

This is an upgrade product. To install this operating system, you must have a valid license that is not in use on another computer for one of the following operating systems: Windows 2000; Windows XP Media Center, Tablet PC, Professional, or Professional x64. This installation requires a "clean install," so if the computer has an existing operating system, you must remove all files and applications, install the system, and then copy back the files and reinstall the applications. The low-profile form factor and two-meter cable length provide flexibility for installation in low-profile devices, such as slim desktops and point-of-sale (POS) devices. The AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9 is one of the Aironet 1130 AG Series of Wi-Fi-certified 802.11g wireless access points. It provides high-capacity, high-security, enterprise-class features in an unobtrusive, office-class design.

Two radios with built-in omnidirectional antennas provide simultaneous support for 802.11a and 802.11g standards with backwards compatibility for legacy 802.11b clients. Multiple nonoverlapping channels minimize interference in congested airspace, simplifying the deployment of high-capacity networks.

The AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9 supports Lightweight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP). When it is operating as a lightweight AP, a WLAN controller is required.

The 1130AG Series meets the international Common Criteria (ISO 15408) standard for computer security.

The product is shipped with a universal power supply for connection to local power. Line power over Ethernet support requires the AIR-PWRINJ3 power injector or another inline power source.

The Cisco Aironet 1130AG Series can be configured using the console port when there is no Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server in the network or when there is no wired connection between the access point and the LAN.
